My Story

Hi, my name is Derek Nolder and I’m the founder of Nolder Apparel.

I’m 18 years old and grew up in a Christian family. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was 8 years old, but over the past few years my faith has really become my own. In the last three years especially, I’ve felt completely on fire for the Lord and wanted to find a way to share my faith more openly with others.

I was homeschooled growing up, and I’ve also had to work through the challenges of dyslexia. School didn’t always come easy for me, but it taught me to work hard, stay determined, and trust that God gives everyone different gifts and paths.

I started Nolder Apparel because I believe clothing can be a simple but powerful way to start conversations about Jesus. Sometimes a shirt can open the door to talk about faith, encouragement, and where our hope really comes from.

My goal with this brand is to create clothing that boldly shares the message of Christ and reminds people that our true destination is Heaven if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
